Sharing Gratitude

 in this time of Thanksgiving

As 2022 draws to a close, Adaptive Clinical Systems enjoys taking a moment to express our thanks to our clients, colleagues and friends who have made this such a wonderful year. Many of our recent assignments have been global working with patients and providers on different continents. As we look ahead, we expect this trend to continue with the increased use of digital therapeutics, RWD and patient therapies that need data normalization and harmonization to enable APIs from different systems to exchange data.
The clinical research ecosystem has begun to culturally embrace a patient-centric approach, as well as expanded its goals for better diversity and inclusion in clinical trials. In this year’s message, Adaptive Clinical also wants to express its gratitude as we share our Thanksgiving message. Giving thanks and showing gratitude is very personal, and we value individual expression. For clinical research to continue to evolve, it takes personal commitment to embrace and accept needed change.
Around the world, several countries celebrate Thanksgiving – Australia, Canada, Grenada, Liberia, the Netherlands, Saint Lucia and the United States. While the United States is the largest country, worldwide some 426 million people celebrate Thanksgiving. Dwiali, a Hindu festival of lights, is held in the period from October to November. One of the largest and most significant cultural observances around the world, Diwali was celebrated on October 27th, and is associated with the New Year and prosperity. Many countries have different holidays or traditions that celebrate life and encourage the expression of gratitude. For instance, the Armenian traditional water festival, Vardarvar, is an annual celebration that allows anyone to pour water on anyone else on this day – including strangers. As you can imagine, it’s a favorite of children. If you have a favorite holiday that means something special to you, please share it with us.
At upcoming gatherings during the coming holiday season, many of us will express gratitude for family, friends and achievements. There are many famous quotes about gratitude, and we hope you will share your gratitude thoughts with us
Yours in gratitude,
All of us at Adaptive Clinical Systems
Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.

– Marcus Tullius Cicero

Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.

– Zig Ziglar

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.

– John F. Kennedy
